For program dates: August 28 - December 10, 2024**
Estimated on-site expenses are based upon figures from the Spring 2024 Country Overview. We will update Fall figures once the Fall 2024 Country Overview is available.
1. Educational Travel: Potential expenses related to ISP is $100 per the Spring 2024 Country Overview.
2. Personal: On-site expenses are estimated at $500 - $1,000 per the Spring 2024 Country Overview, including potential upfront medical costs, tourist sites, and miscellaneous.
3. Passport: The estimated cost above includes the cost of a routine passport application and photos. Click here for more information on securing a passport and expedited fees, if needed.
4. Cell Phone: Includes cell phone and internet per the Spring 2024 Country Overview.
5. Additional Meals: Meals are included, but students will need to budget for occasional meals on their own.
4. Passport: The estimated cost above includes the $60 fee for expedited service. The U.S. State Department is currently experiencing delays for passport applications with routine processing estimated around 8 weeks. We, therefore, recommend that students send their application using USPS’ Priority Mail Express and consider requesting expedited service if needed to meet visa application and travel deadlines. Please note you may have additional expenses related to required or recommended immunizations. The Wofford College Office of International Programs urges you to consult your program materials, the Centers for Disease Control website, and your healthcare provider to assess such needs.
Your actual costs will vary from this estimate prepared by the Office of International Programs. Please compare this estimate to the information that you receive from your program and personalize it based on your chosen program options and personal plans. The Financial Aid Office utilizes this cost estimate when approving scholarships, grants and student loans for use when studying away from campus. All of the above expenses with the exception of independent travel and personal expenses may be used in configuring your financial aid package. Once you are admitted, you may contact the Financial Aid Office with questions regarding your financial aid package.
