For Blocks I, II, & III dates of August 19 - December 21, 2024 **
Please see the CIEE website for costs and dates for Blocks I & II or Blocks II & III only options.
1. Housing & Included Meals: Included meals vary by housing type and some housing options have additional fees. The figure above is for students who choose the Select Housing housing option, which includes a $900 fee. Students who choose Select Plus Housing will incur an additional $900 fee and students choosing Standard will be charged $900 less than the fee above. Select and Select Plus Housing fees are billed after the program begins.
2. Additional Meals: The estimate above is for students choosing the apartment or residence hall/hotel option where no meals are included. Students in Homestays should budget a total of $2,142, since two meals per day are provided.
3. Visa: Figure includes consular fees ($65), Wofford visa processing & mailing fee ($75), and the $180 on-site Residency Permit. Please note: a visa is only required for students completing all three blocks in Rome due to program length. Students completing only two blocks can disregard this budget item.
Please note you may have additional expenses related to required or recommended immunizations. The Wofford College Office of International Programs urges you to consult our program materials, the Centers for Disease Control website, and your healthcare provider to assess such needs.
Your actual costs will vary from this estimate prepared by the Office of International Programs. Please compare this estimate to the information that you receive from your program and personalize it based on your chosen program options and personal plans. The Financial Aid Office utilizes this cost estimate when approving scholarships, grants and student loans for use when studying away from campus. All of the above expenses with the exception of independent travel and personal expenses may be used in configuring your financial aid package. Once you are admitted, you may contact the Financial Aid Office with questions regarding your financial aid package.
