For program dates: September 4 - December 13, 2024 **
1. Housing & Included Meals: Included meals vary by housing type and some housing options have additional fees. The figure above is for students who choose the Select Housing Residence Hall option, which includes a $750 fee. Students who choose the Homestays should subtract $750 from the fee above. Select Housing fees are billed after the program begins.
2. Visa: Figure above includes consular fees ($160) and Wofford visa processing and courier fees ($115).
3. Passport: The estimated cost above includes the cost of a routine passport application and photos. Click here for more information on securing a passport and expedited fees, if needed.
4. Additional Meals: The out-of-pocket cost of additional meals varies by housing type. The figure above is for those staying in the Select Housing Residence Hall option, which does not include any meals. Students in Homestays should budget a total of $350 for occasional meals out, since three meals per day are provided by the families.
Please note you may have additional expenses related to required or recommended immunizations. The Wofford College Office of International Programs urges you to consult your program materials, the Centers for Disease Control website, and your healthcare provider to assess such needs.

The Financial Aid Office utilizes this cost estimate when approving scholarships, grants and student loans for use when studying away from campus. All of the above expenses with the exception of independent travel and personal expenses may be used in configuring your financial aid package.
