1. Housing & Included Meals: Housing costs vary by housing type. The figure above is for students staying in Homestays or in Residence Hall suites (double occupancy). Students staying in Residence Hall suites (single occupancy) should budget for an additional $975 in housing and administrative fees in their billed costs.

2. Educational Travel: Optional IES field trips range from $450 - $1800.

3. Visa: Figure includes Consular fees ($160) and travel to/from Atlanta ($50) for required Consular visit for those within SC jurisdiction. Those in other jurisdictions should budget travel accordingly. See program visa materials for details.

4. Additional Meals: The out-of-pocket cost of additional meals varies by housing type. The figure above is for those staying in Homestays in addition to the 14 meals/week provided in their homestay. Students in Residence Halls should budget for $2,400 in out-of-pocket meal costs, since no meals are provided.

Please note you may have additional expenses related to required or recommended immunizations. The Wofford College Office of International Programs urges you to consult your program materials, the Centers for Disease Control website, and your healthcare provider to assess such needs.

Your actual costs will vary from this estimate prepared by the Office of International Programs. Please compare this estimate to the information that you receive from your program and personalize it based on your chosen housing, course options and travel plans. . The Financial Aid Office utilizes this cost estimate when approving scholarships, grants and student loans for use when studying away from campus. All of the above expenses with the exception of independent travel and personal expenses may be used in configuring your financial aid package. Once you are admitted, you may contact the Financial Aid Office with questions regarding your financial aid package.
