1. Program Fee: The program fee includes pre-departure advising from AIFS staff, tuition, housing in a local homestay, breakfast and dinner Monday-Friday, cultural and social activities (as scheduled by AIFS), scheduled day trips, 24/7 emergency support and comprehensive insurance, support from on-site staff, carbon offsetting for all participants flights to/from the program location, and access to the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment and alumni network.
2. Airfare: Roundtrip airfare is estimated to be $1,000-2,100 (varies with point of departure and carrier)
3. Personal Expenses (does not include personal travel): Recommended estimate of $150-200 per week.
4. Passport & Photos: Estimate of $185. Click here for more information on securing a passport.
5. Other: OPTIONAL 2-day program excursion to Iguazú Falls.
6. Cell Phone: Estimate of $30-150 total
7. Meals (not included in homestay): The program provides breakfast and dinner Monday through Friday. Students should estimate that they need an additional $500 to cover meals that aren't included in the cost of the program.
