The following program testimonial responses have been selected for publication by Office of International Programs
We want to hear about your experience!
Why did you choose this program?
Because of the opportunity to direct my own research project as a part of the ISP period associated with SIT.

What was your favorite aspect of this program?
My favorite aspect would have to have been the ISP project. I very much enjoyed the opportunity to find something that I was passionate about in that country. I worked with some amazing people involved in various campaigns related to my topic. This opportunity allowed me to add to the academic vernacular related to the topic, hopefully bringing about the social and political changes that need to be made not only in Argentina, but the rest of the world.

What was your housing situation like?
I lived with a single woman in her small apartment right in the middle of the city. I was less than a mile from the school where our classes were held and could walk there very easily. I appreciated living with her. She was quiet and respectful to my needs. She was the perfect pick for me.

What was your favorite class and why?
My favorite class by far was Spanish. My professor was extremely enthusiastic about his job and very eager to aid us in our writing for our ISP. He was the most helpful individual on the program.

What did you gain from studying abroad?
I learned a great deal about myself in regard to living in cities. I gained a knowledge about the culture that I could not have achieved in the states. I learned how to appreciate the place that I am from more as well as appreciate the difference between all humans more.
