Why did you choose this program?

I chose this program because it was one of the few that would allow me to fulfill the requirements for my major, minors, and gen eds. It was also at a very affordable cost for me.

What was your favorite aspect of this program?

My favorite aspect of the program was the staff. They were very welcoming and definitely made us their priority. They took the time to know who you are before you got there. They set up many field trips and events to get immersed in the culture.

What was your housing situation like?

I stayed with a host family. The family consisted of both parents and their two kids who are my age. One of them already moved out but was present a lot of the time. I felt like I was part of the family. They encouraged me to leave the house a lot to explore Madrid and the rest of Europe. They had a good balance of giving me my independence while still making me feel a part of their family. I felt more than just a guest and a tourist.

What was your favorite class and why?

My favorite class was Introduction to Engineering management. Although it was at the local Spanish university, it was taught in English. I had a great professor who was passionate about the subject. My classmates made me feel welcomed and became my friends.
