1. Housing & Included Meals: Included meals vary by housing type and some housing options have additional fees. The figure above is for students who choose the Premium Housing option, which includes a $1,500 fee. Students who choose the Premium + Housing will incur an additional $1,500 fee and students choosing the Base housing will be charged $1,500 less than the fee above. Premium and Premium + Housing fees are billed after the program begins.

2. Additional Billable Fees: Students enrolling in the following courses will be billed an additional fee for a course-related trip: IT/CU370 ($160), IB380 ($107), AH340 ($22), CU270 ($160). 

3. Educational Travel: IES Abroad field trips range from $50-$960.

4.  Visa: Figure includes consular fees ($65), Wofford visa processing & mailing fee ($75), and on-site residency permit fee ($180). 

6. Additional Meals: The out-of-pocket cost of additional meals varies by housing type. The figure above is for those staying in Residence Halls or Apartments, with no meals provided. Students staying in a Homestay should budget $3,600 for estimated out-of-pocket meal costs since 12 meals/week are provided. Those staying in the Honors Residence Hall should budget $2,000 for additional meal costs since 16 meals/week are provided.

7. Passport: The estimated cost above includes the cost of a routine passport application and photos. Click here for more information on securing a passport and expedited fees, if needed.

Please note you may have additional expenses related to required or recommended immunizations. The Wofford College Office of International Programs urges you to consult your program materials, the Centers for Disease Control website, and your healthcare provider to assess such needs.

Your actual costs will vary from this estimate prepared by the Office of International Programs. Please compare this estimate to the information that you receive from your program and personalize it based on your chosen program options and personal plans. The Financial Aid Office utilizes this cost estimate when approving scholarships, grants and student loans for use when studying away from campus. All of the above expenses with the exception of independent travel and personal expenses may be used in configuring your financial aid package. Once you are admitted, you may contact the Financial Aid Office with questions regarding your financial aid package.
