For dates: February 19 - May 31, 2023 **
1. Educational Travel: potential ISP travel expenses are not listed in the Fall 2022 Country Overview, but students may incur additional travel costs depending on their ISP host site (Spring 2023 estimates will be added when available).
2. Personal: students should budget between $750 - $1,800, based on the Fall 2022 Country Overview (Spring 2023 estimates will be added when available).
3. Cell Phone: students should budget between $25 - $200, based on the Fall 2022 Country Overview (Spring 2023 estimates will be added when available).
4. COVID Testing: Note that medical testing for COVID-19 may be required for some programs due to country requirements and students are expected to pay any fees associated with pre-travel COVID-19 tests. SIT covers the cost of all program-related COVID-19 tests during the program period. Students are expected to cover the cost of any non-program-related COVID-19 tests. Students may incur costs for other pre- and post-arrival COVID tests in their host country as well ranging from $100 - $250 for the semester. Please see Department of State COVID country-specific information for updated entry and exit testing requirements.
Please note you may have additional expenses related to required or recommended immunizations. The Wofford College Office of International Programs urges you to consult your program materials, the Centers for Disease Control website, and your healthcare provider to assess such needs.
Your actual costs will vary from this estimate prepared by the Office of International Programs. Please compare this estimate to the information that you receive from your program and personalize it based on your chosen program options and personal plans. The Financial Aid Office utilizes this cost estimate when approving scholarships, grants and student loans for use when studying away from campus. All of the above expenses with the exception of independent travel and personal expenses may be used in configuring your financial aid package. Once you are admitted, you may contact the Financial Aid Office with questions regarding your financial aid package.
